In the movie Hotel Rwanda I was very ashamed in the U.N. If they had around 10,000 troops then how come they didnt do anything to stop the genocide. When the person on the radio was being interviewed he said that they suspect ‘acts of genocide’ are happening.
Some things that I noticed that reminded me of the holocaust was when the government didn’t step in to help. Something I noticed that was different was how it was done. In the Holocaust they were tortured in gas chambers whereas in the Rwandian genocide they were quickly killed with machetes or other weopens.
