1a. I think the artist is trying to say that the different trusts are doing bad and they are going against the American ways. In the picture it shows the people which symbolize trusts pushing uncle Sam out on to the plank which is obviously meaning they don’t like uncle Sam and they want him to die or get out of there way. The people are also dressed up like pirates which means that they are stealing from America and basically cheating America. The people are stomping on an American flag which is representing that they don’t care about America and like what I said at the beginning they are against America and its ways.
2a. I think that POLITICAL PARTY A. is leaning towards the right side of the political spectrum because they state in there solution to poverty and unemployment that they want to get rid of all federal, state and local government agencies that restrict entry into any profession. They also state that they oppose all government welfare and relief projects for the poor.
2b. I think that POLITICAL PARTY B. is more on the left side of the political spectrum because they say that they need to lay down an uncompromising position that will help care and nurture children, elders and the disable. They also want restoration of a federally funded entitlement program which supports children. Unlike POLITICAL PARTY A they say that the support program should be funded from the existing welfare budget.
