7th Grade Boys: The boys were definitely full of themselves today! Active as always but decided on a game of “UNO Spin”. It was interesting to watch them develop their strategies and see what level of competitiveness each of the boys is at. All played a fair game with no winner as we ran out of time!
6th Grade Girls: We were missing some of our girls today because of the PFISH field trip and absences. However, we had a lively discussion about the movies they have seen in Health class and then decided to take a walk outside since it was such a beautiful day!
5th Grade Boys: This group wanted to act as a team today and decided upon “Break the Safe”. The boys did a very nice job cooperating together to beat the clock and unlock the safe – which they did!
5th Grade Typical Peers: I apologize if the girls came home a little messy today! We made stress balls…balloons filled with cornstarch and water! The girls had a blast and left with a keepsake to keep them stress free. We ended the group with a joyful version of “If You’re Happy and You Know It”! I would also like to apologize to the nurse if we were a little loud and to the custodian who had to vacuum the room!
A productive day, overall!
