Typical Peer Play Group: What fun we had today! We read the book “Where the Wild Things Are” – ever so popular because of the new movie! Then we made ourselves into Wild Things and colored pictures from the book! Awesome interactions today!

3rd Grade Girls 1: Today we caught up with the other 3rd grade group and finished our self-expression project. The girls were all “STEWPENDOUS” as they created a “stew” that contained lots of fun veggies like……I turn red as a “beet” when……………; Lend an “ear”…………….; _____ and I are like “peas in a pod” because…………..; _______is a 14 “carrot” friend because…………..; I “turnip” my nose at people who_________because…………….. The stew pots are all very beautiful!

3rd Grade Girls 2: Since we finished our “Stewpendous Stews” last week, today we made stress balls out of cornstarch and balloons – a little messy (sorry parents!) but loads of fun and the girls really liked the idea of having a stress ball to help them stay focused and calm in class!
