7th Grade Boys: Interesting discussion today about how others do not “make us” feel a certain way……we feel a certain way based on what we “think”…talked a bit about taking responsibility for our own feelings…then played a rousing game of basketball!

6th Grade Girls: We shared our “Happy Happenings” and continued our discussion of the movies the girls have been seeing in health class. Talked a bit about “growing up”. Then the girls wanted to dance! We did the Cha-Cha Slide and the YMCA!!!

5th Grade Boys: Lots of conversations about video games and movies! We went into the gym to play Cosmic Catch and had many teachable moments when some of our boys became over-competitive and sore losers….We discussed being a “Destroyer of Fun” and will continue this discussion next week!

5th Grade Typical Peer Group: The girls were a little quiet today! We made turkeys with colored stamps and our fingerprints and finished up the stress balls. To liven things up, we did the Limbo and the Hokey Pokey!
