Third Grade Girls Group 1 and 2: After sharing Happy Happenings, we decided not finish our book because one member was out sick today….instead Miss Eriksen made some fabulous shamrocks and the girls came up with a long list of all the things they are lucky for and wrote them on their shamrocks!

Third Grade Girls Group 3: Today, after sharing Happy Happenings,  we needed to do a little review about our social smarts and being part of a group. I reminded the girls of the rules of our group: Think with Your Eyes, Keep Your Body in the Group and Keep Your Brain in the Group.  We also talked about “Brain Eater” and learned some new strategies to defeat this Unthinkable!

Preschool: As always..we had a blast with the preschool kids!  We hung out for a while with the morning group and watched the kids match letters in their name and even had the chance to read to some of our preschool friends. In the afternoon group, we played with the kids during free time looking for moments of “sunshine thinking” to record on our big classroom sun. We also joined circle and listened to the preschoolers tell about the treasures they brought from home.
