Another fabulous week was had by all!
Stonington Rec Program:
For groups 2 and 3, this was our first class – We learned the sign language alphabet and numbers! We learned how to spell our names and introduce ourselves. We also learned people signs as well as some important signs like bathroom, yes, no and stop!
Group 4 had their second class today! We reviewed concepts from our first session and then began work on time, days of the week, school words and home words. We even sang the days of the week song in sign language!!!

Summer School

Opening: Greetings; Happenings; What did you say, what did you mean? (Figurative language and idioms)
Lessons: Understanding All of Your Feelings, Different Kinds of Anger, You Have Anger Buttons; Developing a Filter and Going with the Flow
Acting Antics – Flexible Phrases; Open Scenes
Closing Meeting: Apples to Apples; What I Learned Today; Compliments for All!
During snack and free time, we also worked as a team and played dominoes!
