8th grade Language Arts
Students will be reading a variety of fiction and non-fiction- short stories and novels as well as essays and articles.
Students will also be writing letters, stories and essays.
Students will work on projects throughout the year.

Block 1- This class is in the middle of Power Point presentations.
Block 2- In class research project relating to The Alchemist. Presentations start 2/2. Don’t be a Bystander journals started 1/31
Block 3- Propaganda project press conferences will finish this week. Keep up on Dont be a Bystander journal. Read Down and Out in Paris and London for Feb 3.
Block 4- In-class research project relating to Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor.
Block 5 - Propaganda project press conferences will finish this week.
