Hotel Rwanda
The movie Hotel Rwanda was one of the most saddest movies i have ever seen. The fact that the Hutus would actually do a crime as big as this is really significant. I was expecting the movie to be not as sad as it was, but i thought wrong.
The part where Paul and Gregoire were driving home (the river road way) was sick and twisted. The fact that the man named George told Paul to go the back way was a extremely sick thing to do. When Paul saw a bunch load of dead Tutsis and modern Hutus made him break down. If i witnessed that atrocitie i probably would have broken down, because seeing dead friends and possibly neighbors would send a chill down anyones back. The way the Interhamwe did to its victims were intimidating to any Tutsi still living, making the Interhamwe fell strong and dominant.
I think that the U.N should have intervined and tryed to stop the Interhamwe. Even though the U.N would have disobeyed orders they would be doing good things. If Mbaye Djiange disobeyed orders and helped to save innocent tutsis i think the U.N should have done the same. I think Paul amd Mbaye were alike. Mbaye tyed to save as much tutsis as possible, and Paul tryied to do the same. The part where Paul was in the hotel trying to find is wife Tatiana and his children reminded me of Mbaye saving tutsis.
I stongly reccomend this movie to anyone. It has alot of good facts and may even bring a tear to peoples eyes. So anyone rreading this post i think should watch the movie Hotel Rwanda
