The ‘07-’08 Debate Club was a great success! Please refer back to this site to find out if there will be a Debate Club for the ‘08-’09 school year.-Ms. Hartnett, Debate Club advisor
Some of last year’s debate topics were: “Schools should ban junk food” and
“Television is a bad influence on children”.

Great job on the debate on April 3rd!! Come in next week with closing arguments and we will go over what everyone did and discuss ….Also, we will be selecting our next debate topic and the teams.
No meeting on January 31st. Next meeting is February 7, 2008
February 7th meeting: Bring possible debate topics. Be prepared to convince the group WHY your topic is a good choice!
