Due Today; sorry for not getting this posted yesterday!
Due Monday: A project presentation of what you learned about the natural history and reproduction of the 4 species you chose, as outlined in the assignment.
Assignment: Collect information on the natural history and life cycle, including how each species reproduces, of 4 organisms. Follow the assignment handed out in class. If you need another copy, look under the pages section of my site.
This is a small project, due in a week or so. It should be worked on every night until finished. Next Monday is the official due date.

Complete the graphing assignment “How Many Offspring?” tonight. You will be creating 3 graphs by hand or using a computer program. This assignment was given to periods 4 and 1. Create 3 graphs for animals’ gestation periods, # of offspring per birth and average life span. DO NOT do age at puberty.

Welcome to the eighth grade biology portion of the year. This unit starts with the biology of human reproduction but branches quickly into the endocrine system, cell meiosis and beginning genetics. A syllabus for this unit will be posted soon.
