Class Grading Practices

Areas of grading that cover how grades are calculated; all are done through a point system, where points accumulate to produce an average. More challenging activities are worth more points.

1. Daily participation.

2. Homework completion.  On average homework is given 3 times per week.

3. Quizzes, various class reading and writing activities.

4. Labs, projects and tests.

Supplies:

Journal, folder, writing utensils, sometimes a book. It all depends on the unit!

I prefer student questions/ parent concerns to be emailed to:

sakers@stoningtonschools.org

Physical sciences and applications:

* Forces of motion, Newtons Laws, bridge engineering
